1. Shipping Live Plants
We ship live blueberry plants and other plants with great care. Every order is hand‑selected, watered, inspected, and packed like it’s going off to plant college.
1.1 Shipping Schedule
We ship orders Monday–Wednesday to help plants avoid weekend warehouse vacations (they hate those). Shipping may pause during extreme heat, cold, or storms — because plants prefer not to arrive frozen or sautéed.
1.2 Shipping Methods
We use trusted carriers such as FedEx or LTL carrier for large orders. Transit times vary by location, weather, and how much coffee your delivery driver had that morning.
1.3 Shipping Confirmation
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number.
2. What to Expect When Your Plants Arrive
Live plants may arrive:

Dormant (sleeping)

Leafless
-
Pruned
-
Smaller than the glamour shots on the website

A little stressed from travel (same as humans after a long flight)
This is all normal. Give them water, sunlight, and a pep talk — they usually perk right up.
3. Damaged or Unhappy Plants
If your plant arrives looking like it lost a fight:

Contact us within 3 days of delivery

Include photos of the plant, box, and packaging

Keep everything until we review the claim
We’ll evaluate and may offer a replacement or store credit, depending on the situation.
We cannot help with plants that suffer after arrival due to:

Planting too deep or too shallow

Overwatering, underwatering, or “I forgot it in the garage for a week”

Animals, weather, or lawnmowers with poor aim

Planting outside recommended USDA zones

General plant neglect (plants are tough, but not that tough)
4. Returns (Short Version: We Don’t Accept Them)
Because plants are living, perishable, and cannot be resold once they leave our care:
We do not accept returns of live plants.
Even if they come back looking perfectly fine, we can’t rehome them — they’ve already bonded with you.
5. Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled if we have not shipped and are notified at least 3 hours before they are shipped.
6. Incorrect Address or Delivery Issues
Please double‑check your shipping address. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, we can reship it — but you’ll be responsible for the additional shipping cost.
7. Weather Holds
We may delay shipping during extreme temperatures. We promise this is for the plants’ safety — not because they’re being dramatic.
8. Liability Limitation
Our liability for any order — including shipping issues, plant condition, or replacement decisions — is limited to the purchase price of the order.
We do not cover indirect or consequential damages (like emotional distress because your blueberry bush didn’t instantly produce muffins).
